……in the most beautiful of lands was a community steeped with rich history offering a tapestry of diverse agriculture, fine food, wine, arts and a sense of well being.
This tale begins with Amy who has roots tracing back 5 generations, she grew up experiencing all that Prince Edward County has to offer. As a 20 something, she moved away to the city to build her business as a home designer. There she met long time top producing Toronto real estate agent Aleks, fell in love and began to have a family. After the tragic passing of their 2 year old son Luke, Aleks and Amy felt their hearts calling them back to the County in 2014 where they have found a tight knit community focused on family, love and support.
As the story goes, their dear friends Dale and Josee, were also feeling a stirring to find a community reminiscent of Josee’s upbringing in Cape Breton where they could raise their 3 children. Little did both families know, but they both had felt that same calling, to Call The County Home™.
The County Guys is made up of Aleks and Dale who serve as real estate salespeople. They each have more than 20 years sales experience and customer service expertise. Amy brings to the team over two decades of Interior Design experience paired with a business and marketing work history, while Josee brings over 20 years of customer service and design experience, many as one of the lead wedding coordinators for renowned wedding designer Rachel A. Clingen. Together, The County Guys seek to bring value from their years of experience and expertise in the real estate market to their clients in Prince Edward County.
COMMITTED. PASSIONATE. INVESTED. Qualities that have become the cornerstone of WHO Aleks is, and HOW he handles every real estate transaction. Aleks has enjoyed 20+ years serving his clients as a REALTOR®, in Toronto and Simcoe County. His knowledge & personal experience with home renovations, design & construction has benefited hundreds of his clients by adding value to their homes, positively impacting their bottom line. For more than 5 years, Aleks has been in the top 2% of REALTORS® across Canada*. Aleks' focus and drive were fostered early on, well before he even considered Real Estate as a career. At almost 6'-7" in height it was destined that he would play basketball. He spent years playing competitive ball locally and then headed to the U.S for College ball. Although he didn't pursue this sport full time he undeniably learned the importance of teamwork, perseverance and dedication: all traits that have served his clients well. He’s a father of 3 - 1 of which is in Heaven. He can be found Wednesday nights playing games with kids at his local church, and cheering for the Wellington Dukes on Fridays. He looks forward to helping families "Call The County Home"™

Being in the sales and customer service business his entire working career, Dale understands the value of treating people as he would expect to be treated. His years of experience leading high volume sales teams of up to 300 gives him the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deliver on client expectations. His extensive experience in sales and negotiations means his clients can rest assured that he knows how to fight for their best interests.
Dale has committed himself to making the home buying and selling journey a happy, stress free, and productive process. 100% customer satisfaction is his priority and his clients can rest assured that their needs are being put first. He considers all of his clients to be friends first and customers second.
Since the 80’s, he’s been on a quest for the perfect pepperoni, imports his flour from Italy for his wood fired oven, and stops at every mom and pop shop wherever he travels in pursuit of a slice that would make the angels sing. His passion for pizza is balanced however, by flipping tractor tires and reaching for a new personal record in his home CrossFit gym and by snacking on fresh veggies from his huge vegetable garden.
While Dale is ‘All In’ for his clients, he still has traditional family values and has made the community, church and family among his top priorities. He’s a father to 3 children, he is also an active volunteer firefighter and the games leader for his community church kids program.
Amy, aka Vessel Design has been designing Residential & Commercial spaces for over two decades but her most recent project had her making a move back to her hometown of Prince Edward County where family roots go back 5 generations. She and husband Aleks have purchased the S.S.1 Schoolhouse on Glenora Road and have lovingly restored the 1859 building into a now modern updated multi use space. When Amy’s not immersed in a current design project you will find her in the kitchen testing recipes with 3 year old son Nathan while face timing her daughter Hanna, a first year BioMed student at Ottawa University.
As part of the County Guys team, Amy provides all the listings with a complimentary styling package inclusive of initial consultation, furniture placement, colour, lighting and renovation suggestions based on budget and the final day of styling where clients witness a complete transformation of their space. Artwork, accessories, textiles and some furniture pieces are combined with clients existing pieces to create a space that is fresh and uncluttered and appeals to the highest percentage of buyers.
Born in Nova Scotia but moving to Ontario as a child, Josee’s heart has always felt a longing to return to the simple country life she grew up with, and a place where you wave to your neighbours and the cars driving by. In 2018, her and Dale realized they were ready for their family of 5 to make a huge lifestyle change and decided themselves to Call The County HomeTM
Josee’s passion for visual aesthetics is shown through our social media accounts as she showcases the beauty of The County with a desire to show others why they also, would want to Call the County HomeTM. She brings over 20 years of design and customer service experience as one of the lead wedding co-ordinators for Rachel. A Clingen Wedding Design.
In her “spare” time you will find Josee behind a sewing machine preparing products for her small handmade business – Junebugs – named after her 3 children all born in the month of June. She treasures time with family and friends above all else, loves a nice heavy barbell, and can always be found with a cup of coffee in her hand.
